During that time, she has worked with a wide array of organizations—from mission driven social services providers to international publishing companies—in support of diverse populations including seniors seeking to maintain their health and independence, teachers and students in public education settings around the globe, and local communities experiencing food and housing insecurities. Throughout these wide ranging experiences, Allison has sought to find common ground, humor, and creativity in working with her clients and collaborators alike. A graduate of the University of San Diego’s Nonprofit Leadership and Management Masters program, Allison also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature with a minor in Creative Writing from Hamilton College in New York. With a deep respect and admiration for the many elders who have impacted her throughout her life and career, Allison is honored to begin her next chapter as Director of Philanthropy at Covenant Living at Mount Miguel.
At Covenant Living, our residents aren’t just neighbors; they are individuals with incredible life journeys that continue to inspire us every day.

From being present for President Reagan’s historic ""Tear down this wall"" speech to accompanying First Ladies on Broadway outings, Joan’s career in healthcare for our nation’s leaders is truly one for the books!
We are so honored that Joan chooses to call our community home. Click the video below to hear her favorite memories from the White House and see the mementos she still prizes today. ... See MoreSee Less
