Miles joined Covenant Living at Mount Miguel in 2015 after his interest of senior living was piqued by his wife becoming a registered nurse. His career began as a line cook in local restaurants, and while working his first hotel job was invited into the Sheraton’s sous chef training program. Upon graduation, he rose through the culinary ranks in the area’s hotels and resorts. Highlights from his career, includes hosting the San Diego Restaurant Association’s award banquet and representing the San Diego Chargers in the 2003 Taste of the NFL’s “Share our Strength” national fundraiser that included several television appearances.
Upon joining Covenant Living he can still recall the incredible welcome he received from the residents and staff. “I really enjoy the friendships I have made with many of the residents here and look forward to greeting them whenever we see each other in the dining room or around the beautiful grounds.”
Who says healthy eating has to be boring? 🍽️🥗 Our culinary teams at Covenant Living whip up delicious, chef-prepared meals that nourish both body and soul. Enjoy restaurant-style dining with good company and great flavors—without ever having to do the dishes!
